In October 2018, Klaus F. Zimmermann has taken office at the School of Labor and Human Resources at Renmin University of China (Beijing). He is Honorary Professor of this University, operates from UNU-MERIT/Maastricht and is President of the Global Labor Organization (GLO). In Beijing, Zimmermann provides this week keynote speeches at three conferences (i) the CIER seasonal policy conference on analyzing China’s labor market, (ii) the joint Renmin-GLO research conference on “The Chinese Labor Market” and (iii) The “Third Annual Conference of Labor Economics in China” at the Beijing Capital University of Economics and Business. Next week, he also provides research seminar presentations at Renmin University of China and Beijing Normal University.
Renmin University and GLO have just published the program of their forthcoming conference on the Chinese labor market. The Renmin University / GLO Conference provides a platform for researchers working on topics related to the Chinese labor market, including migration, discrimination, health and well-being, education, environment, labor market policies. The event is part of the Chinese Labor Market Cluster of GLO headed by GLO Cluster Lead Corrado Giulietti (University of Southampton).
